Future Is An illusion

Future Is An illusion
Future is like the moon, we can see but can never reach. Sometimes, it disappear as if there's no futures, sometimes there's a bit of it but there are also time it's fully rounded and bright.

I keep looking forward to something in the future, the moment it happens, it become the past.

"If i pass this exam, i will buy something good for myself". The moment i know i passed the exam, it already passed. Maybe what i really want is the action that follow that event. But why do i need that to happen in order to do something, even if they are unrelated. Treating myself good is the way to go, even if i pass the exam or not, is that the stick and carrot strategy that i train myself? The moment i decided that i would buy something good to treat myself, i already decided that i wanted to treat myself right, why do i need to pass the exam to do the right thing? There's clearly a conflict. Why does the exam hold so much power over yourself?

Future is just an uncertain moment that will eventually happen, but there's no guarantee that it will happen the way you want it to be. The moment it happens, it already become the past 🌀. From this, i learn that the future is not something reliable, do not put too much weight into the expectation of the future to happen in a certain way,

Don’t seek for everything to happen as you wish it would, but rather wish that everything happens as it actually will—then your life will flow well
